My friends call me Bob. I graduated from Elmont Memorial High School in June, 1967, and went to New York University's School of Engineering and Science (at University Heights). I have a BSEE (E'71) and an MBA (GBA '74), both from New York University.
I'm the former owner and President of Signacon Controls, Inc., which was a Systems Integration company specializing in Security, Fire Alarm and Sound systems throughout New York State. After selling Signacon to Pinkerton Systems Integration (PSI), I worked as the Regional Vice President of PSI's North East Region for three years. In January, 2000 I established a new company, RZS Solutions, Inc., to provide specialized systems and services to the Security and Transportation Systems markets. I'm a member of the American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS), and I am a Certified Protection Professional (CPP). For more information about this field, check out the ASIS home page.
When I'm not busy at work or with my family, I'm usually involved with one of my hobbies, amateur radio or stamp collecting.
